Plaid sighting ...

I see a lot of red plaid in the national parks gift shops. These two items were spotted in Glacier recently. The top is actually long johns, but it's hard to tell because the hanger has the top part folded down. Pretty cute with the bears. The bottom shorts are pretty common, but you pay dearly for them to have Glacier imprinted on them.

Nerdy Plaid Shorts

I found these red plaid shorts at the thrift store awhile back. Even though I thought they were incredibly nerdy, they were my size, so I bought them. They're high-waisted, which seems to be coming back in style right now. Plus, they're kind of on the baggy side, so they flare out more like a skirt.

I thought they might be fun to wear with some black leggings and black boots — or something punkish like that. When I decide what to wear with them, I will try to snap a better photograph.
